Three coaches this time!!
A glorious sunny day for our Coach trip to Gloucester 14th April 2015. Regrettably the roads were busy on the way there so we were a little later arriving than expected. The Cathedral is magnificent, with the cloisters being the finest example in this country certainly. A very important Cathedral in which is the tomb of Edward II.
The historic dockyard has been refurbished and is a very pleasant area indeed.
The journey home was good until just before Corley services. The Wellingborough coach got through but unfortunately an incident which resulted in a thirty mile tail back resulted in total gridlock for two and a half hours. However the coach drivers were both were their usual cheerful selves and it turned in to a pleasant social event which meant people were chatting away to people they had not spoken with before so the time passed in an enjoyable manner for us.
Thanks to Dave Humphreys for taking some great photos of the trip.
