A crisp and sunny day dawned for the day of our trip.
Four members joined us from Corby which was great. Our driver was brilliant, giving us a wonderfully smooth and comfortable drive, and managing the heavy London traffic with ease. The added bonus was that he pointed out places of interest along the way, including the house where Amy Johnson our first lady aviator lived.
On arrival he dropped us off right outside The Victoria and Albert Museum which was perfect. We then went our separate ways.I went to the fantastic Constable exhibition. Some folk preferred to enjoy the sun and window shopped or did some last-minute shopping others to meet up with friends and family.
The return journey enabled us to view the Christmas decorations in the warmth and comfort of the coach. A good journey home and a good day out. Should we make this an annual event?
